Standard Tariff Change
In the standard case, the old tariff is replaced with the new tariff. Users will always pay based on the new tariff from the moment it is applied.
Path: Ihm_Configuration > Parameters > Exchange Rate Table (Select tariff, set to 0 – Payment)
Or from version UL / V7.xx:
Path: Ihm_Configuration > Tariffs > General Settings
Special Case: Equitable Tariff Change
Example: The tariff change is scheduled for March 1st, 2007. A user enters the car park on February 25th and pays on March 2nd. The user should be charged using the old tariff from February 25 to March 2.
Steps:
1. Insert the USB/disc containing the new tariff.
2. Navigate to Ihm_Configuration > Tariffs > Import/Export.
3. Select 'Import a tariff' and confirm.
4. Choose the validator tariff name and confirm multiple times.
5. Close the import window and remove the USB/disc.
Set the Tariff Switching Dates
Go to Ihm_Configuration > Parameters > Tariff Switching Date.
Define one or two switching dates for all tariff indices.
Tariff Index Table
Edit the tariff index with the following fields:
- Name of the tariff index (e.g., hourly index)
- Index number
- Rate before first switch date
- Rate between two switch dates
- Rate after second switch date
Exchange Rate Table Configuration
For this calculation method, go to the Exchange Rate Table and set tariff choice to 1 – Entry.
Path: Ihm_Configuration > Tariffs > General Settings
Set necessary monetary settings, currency codes, switching dates, and update exchange rate details as needed.
